Dinner with Canalis and...

woke up really late today.
and thus was totally in a wrecked state of mind.
i got through packed lunch with an eye on the roll of newspaper on the table.
was flipping through it with an uncaring attitude ya.
thereafter which for the whole of the afternoon, i was detached and indifferent to my environment.

then i went for a afternoon jog around the neighborhood.
alas i couldn't gear up any serious momentum and stopped just after 20 minutes i guess.
i was positive and certain that the culprit was the stale and still air.

went to meet up my friend to pas on some stuffs.

and reached at changi village for CANALIS DINNER!!
in the end i din manage to see any canalis mate except for the trannys.
darn.
then the phone rang.
the location was changed to Elias mall.
and i was not duly informed due to some wrong number recorded on the contact list.
perhaps it was due to my so intelligible handwriting. HAHAHA.
oh wells.
so i reached Elias.
and YES!!
this time i saw them! my CANALIS MATES!!
aha.

we had a LONG and funny and fulfilling dinner.
which i shall not elaborate on.
or it would be another of those lengthy post. ((:
we chatted for a while at the playground nearby before subsequently i hopped onto bus 81 with ying homewards!!! :))

well..
it is september now
and it is slowly creeping towards margt's 21st birthday!!
YAHOOOOOO!!!!

i like to celebrate ppl's 21st birthdays.

too bad mine is gna be spent wearing a bald head and dull green uniform.

anyway recently i am trying to expand my vocabulary vault.

F1 training wasn't that exciting.
was totally apathetic towards it.

after the whole boring saga of F1 and its waiting.
so it dragged conveniently past our very reasonable expectation of the finishing time.
and since i already have a date with ris boon and ws to watch the highly anticipated match of this weekend.
i pangseh-ed them.

so i went to have chicken rice worth of 1.80 with the buddies.

reunions.

i guess the necessity of reunions more often than not appears the most urgent during the holidays.
or perhaps i havent met another more necessary or urgent period in my life that i most wanted a reunion.

and yes since it is my on-going holidays now.
i am not working.
no other pressing matters as well.
no more camps or chalets.

so anyway.
rmb my last post about me going off to gym.
well.well.
just as i was abt to step out of my doorstep.
a phone call changed my plans for the night.
how dramatic?
yup. definitely so.

anyway.
met up with my soccer team mates.
whom i haven seen in a long while.
anyway that soccer session has been a long time coming.
so we met in bedok cage and had a good time playing in the darkness while all the while our eyes were trying to adjust to the utter darkness.
hmmm.
it was good la.
we played to our limits.
and when we gt too tired, exhausted and expanded all our energy,.
we kicked about at a slower pace. chatted. talked. reminisced.
till our legs couldnt carry us anymore.
then we went to the nearest 7-11 and ya.
we sat down to gabber and jabber somemore.

and then fastforward to today.
saturday. :))
went to church service.
after which i went to meet up with my sjab squad mates!!
loves!!
haha.
anyway there were yuanling. hoyan. joycelyn. joyce!! (FINALLY!) xinhui. hannah!! (FINALLY AS WELL!!)
melvin. booneh, harris. weisong. me!

it was great and all seeing the whole lot of them ya?
elation and pleasure are the words of the moment i guess.
not really euphoria.
too over.

the main purpose was to celebrate xin and mel birthday!
but i guess it was a bit sidetracked cos we haven really met in such a almost-complete group for since i dno when. (thats the point! i cant even rmb!!)
haha. so we were doing some major catching up.
there were birthday presents of course.
as well as gossips and tittle-tattles. :))
thats so usual of us ya?

anyway we reunioned( i like this word. although weird in this context) at some place in centurysquare!!!
i like it there.
some splendic atmosphere there.

CANALIS FOR THE WIN!

hey fellow earthlings!

i'm back from camp!
from sister's islands!
from middle of nowhere!
from the wilderness!
from somewhere i've nvr been before!

yes. sister's island is the place to be.
okay i mean was. =)
for 4days 3nights.
or rather 3 days 2 nights.
24hours was spent in temasek poly.
yepp.

i guess it was the next best camp i have gone through 'cept for sjab camps. and OBS.
it was a camp filled with laughters, misery caused by sand-filled sneakers and tents fallen by a combination of stormy winds and lousy tent structure.
i guess one of the most enjoyable and funny moment was when canalis sat in a hut to come up with a story that is beyond descriptions.
another one was when we performed on talent night when we pu up a show which caused us to be mightily proud of ourselves. =))

also.
i lost my specs not once. but twice.
DAMN.
i lost it first during treasure hunt in the sea.
when the unforgiving waves swept mt specky specs away. (okay. abit exaggerated.)
someone found it. thanks yo!
then lightning struck for the second time.
this time was purely due to my own idiotracy. DARN.
we got our own playtime in the sea.
den i obstinately decided to keep my specs on. :(
and thus the waves again happily gobbled down my loved specs.

and so.
i went blind for one full day.
except for the moments with Gabriel's specs!
